The warm weather brings out our wonderful blooms and our Onondaga County Democratic Committee (OCDC) members who have begun walking door to door with our petitions. One of the most important responsibilities that a committee member has is to carry petitions to ensure our Democrats are on the ballot for the 2008 general election to be held on November 4, 2008.
Our declared candidates include Dan Maffei - 25th Congressional District; the Hon. David J. Valesky - 49th NYS Senate District; the Hon. Joan Christensen - 119th NYS Assembly District; the Hon. Bill Magnarelli - 120th NYS Assembly District; the Hon. Al Stirpe - 121st NYS Assembly District; Noah Sargent - 129th NYS Assembly District; and Steve Paquette - Onondaga County Surrogates Court Judge.
This is a very exciting year for our local Democrats. Our County has a historic opportunity to voice their support for lour local Democratic candidates and vote for real change.
